About Mary Hinderliter:
After receiving her B.A. from Point Loma University in California, Mary moved to Corvallis, Oregon and in 1977 started her media marketing career with the Gazette Times. It was also at that time she became an avid listener of "All Things Considered" and National Public Radio.
Mary enjoyed 25 years in print media, consulting with organizations and businesses, large and small, to market their goods and services through the pages of various newspapers, including The Herald in Everett and The Seattle Times.
In 2004, she was selected to join the underwriting team of KUOW Puget Sound Public Radio. Working with underwriting clients and colleagues these past years has provided a sense of personal satisfaction in accomplishing the mission of KUOW: To create and serve an informed public, one challenged and invigorated by an understanding and appreciation of events, ideas and cultures.
Mary resides in–city with her husband of 20 years, Eric Zoeckler. They have four grandchildren; two in LA and two in St Louis. Gardening, golfing and traveling to see friends and family are her delights.
