Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteering your time and energy is every bit as valuable as your money. Your contribution of volunteer hours helps support the diverse programming and services you enjoy from KUOW.

Pledge Drive
Answer phones in the studio during KUOW pledge drives and take donor information over the phone. We'll announce sign-ups on the air, on the web and via email updates.

Commitment: 3– to 4–hour shifts during fall and spring pledge drives.

Office/General
Occasional volunteer opportunities in various departments include filing, answering phones, word processing, data entry, mailings and other special projects. Daytime shifts as prearranged.

Commitment: six month commitment or during pledge drives. It does take time to train, so we'd like to keep you on file as someone trained to work.

Errands
Drive your own car to pick up food, supplies, etc. Drivers must have a valid Washington State Driver's License and a clean driving record.

Commitment: on-call, with advance notice.
