Cascade Symphony Orchestra – Chamber Orchestra Concert

Seattle Arts & Lectures — Richard Price

KUOW and Seattle Arts & Lectures present author and screenwriter Richard Price on December 1 at Benaroya Hall. Known for his gritty crime novel, "Clockers and Lush Life," Price is also a writer for the TV series "The Wire" and screenplays for "Sea of Love" and "The Color of Money." Seattle Pro Musica — Eastern Lights

KUOW and Seattle Pro Musica present "Eastern Lights — Music of Asia and the Pacific," a winter season program featuring traditional folk songs and new choral music from Japan, Korea, China, India, Southeast Asia, New Zealand, and Australia. KUOW and Seattle Public Theater present "The Santaland Diaries," a humorous one–person play, based on David Sedaris' experiences as a Macy's Santaland Elf. Arts West — Plaid Tidings: The Holiday Version of Forever Plaid

KUOW and ArtsWest present "Plaid Tidings: The Holiday Version of Forever Plaid," December 2 – 27 at Arts West in West Seattle. Musical quartet The Plaids (Frankie, Sparky, Jinx and Smudge), from "Forever Plaid," are transported back from the ethereal cosmos to stage a nostalgic holiday extravaganza for world weary mortals. Seattle Shakespeare Company — Twelfth Night

KUOW and Seattle Shakespeare Company present "Twelfth Night" December 3 – 27. Shakespeare's holiday comedy of misdirected love follows the romantic adventures of Viola. SecondStory Repertory Theatre — A Christmas Cabaret

KUOW and SecondStory Repertory Theatre present A Christmas Cabaret, November 27 – December 27. Susanna Wilson and Robert Bogue's musical review features traditional (and a few not so traditional) holiday songs.
