Gary Faigin: West Coast Drawings at Davidson Gallery

Artist drawings are usually just preparation for paintings, sculptures, or prints. But the current group show at the Davidson Gallery in downtown Seattle, shows 65 works of drawing on paper, most of which were conceived of as independent works of art. Art critic Gary Faigin spoke with KUOW's Megan Sukys about many of the pieces that were far more than mere preparation.
